A Vision of Britain through Time provides the following description of Threxton from John Marius Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales of 1871-72:

"THREXTON, a parish in Swaffham [registration] district, Norfolk; 2¼ miles W by S of Watton [railway] station. Post town: Watton, under Thetford. Acres: 1,097. Real property: £935. Population: 80. Houses: 13. There is a Roman camp; and Roman relics have been found. The living is a rectory, annexed to Swaffham.

Threxton was an ancient or eccleasiastical parish in Wayland Hundred and from 1894 until 1935 was a civil parish in Swaffham Rural District. In 1935 the civil parish was abolished and the lands transferred to the parish of Little Cressingham. The area is now part of the Breckland District of Norfolk.

Wikipedia refers to the church, Threxton All Saints, which has a 13th-century round tower as well as a 14th-century octagonal font and remnants of medieval stained glass in at least one window. Otherwise Wikipedia makes no reference to the former parish.
