Thourotte is a small town of 5239 inhabitants (1999) in the department of Oise in the French region of Picardie, located between Compiègne and Noyon on the river Oise. Its economy is dominated by the presence of a glass factory of the mutinational company Saint-Gobain. The catholic church, of Gothic style, is from the 12th century.
