Thormanby is a village and civil parish in Hambleton district of North Yorkshire, England. It lies on the A19 approximately half-way between Easingwold and Thirsk and about 14 miles (23 km) south east of the county town of Northallerton.

Prior to the nationwide municipal reorganization of 1974, Thormanby was part of Easingwold Rural District. Historically, it was an ecclesiastical parish in the Bulmer Wapentake.
