Strathbogie is the name of a region in the western central part of Aberdeenshire, south of the town of Huntly. The name derives from the River Bogie, particularly a spot where the river makes a notable sharp bend. The Presbytery of Strathbogie comprises the parishes of Cairnie, Gartly, Glass, Huntly, and Rhynie.
