Staploe is a village and civil parish located in the Bedford Borough of Bedfordshire, England.

Staploe was originally a hamlet in the parish of Eaton Socon. In 1965, under the Local Government Act 1958, the village of Eaton Socon was merged with the neighbouring town of St Neots in Huntingdonshire (Cambridgeshire since 1974). Staploe was therefore created as a civil parish in 1965 from the remaining more rural part of the parish.

The parish of Staploe includes other former hamlets which were within Eaton Socon - Duloe, Honeydon and Upper Staploe. Bushmead Priory and the hamlet of Bushmead are also in the parish. These places have all been re-directed to Eaton Socon. Wyboston has been in Roxton parish since 1934 and has been redirected there.

On its formation Staploe became part of the Bedford Rural District. Since 1974 it has been in the non-metropolitan Borough of Bedford. The population of Staploe according to the UK census of 2011 was 211.
