Stanford is a civil parish in the Daventry District in Northamptonshire, England. Stanford-on-Avon is a hamlet in the parish. It lies next to the River Avon of Warwickshire which here forms the county boundary between Northamptonshire and Leicestershire. On the Leicestershire side of the river is the historic house of Stanford Hall.
