St. Faiths Rural District and its neighbour Aylsham Rural District were rural districts in Norfolk, England from 1894 to 1935.

In 1935 the whole of St. Faiths Rural District and the southern part of Aylsham RD were merged to form St. Faiths and Aylsham Rural District. Changes to the border with Norwich County Borough were made in 1907, 1951 and 1968.

In 1974, the merged district was abolished under the Local Government Act 1972, and became part of the non-metropolitan Broadland District.

The Ordnance Survey Map of 1900 supplied by A Vision of Britain through Time will assist in identifying the location of the individual parishes.

The general explanatory notes are worth reading for those unfamiliar with English parish records.
