South Canaan Township is a township in Wayne County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 1,768 at the 2010 census.

South Canaan is home to Saint Tikhon's Orthodox Theological Seminary and the oldest Orthodox monastery in North America — Saint Tikhon's Orthodox Monastery.
