Shipton Bellinger is a village and civil parish in the Test Valley District of Hampshire.
The parish is about 5 miles (8 km) north-east of the town of Amesbury and 12 miles (19 km) northeast of the city of Salisbury. It is on the A338 road, near its junction with the A303 road. Note that despite the parish being in Hampshire, it is so far to the west of the county that the towns it is measured from are both in Wiltshire.
The village is surrounded by Salisbury Plain which is used by the British Army for in-the-field training. It is close to Tidworth Camp and a number of British Army families live in the village.
