Sheridan is the largest city and county seat in Grant County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 3,872 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Little RockNorth Little RockConway Metropolitan Statistical Area. . Sheridan is named after Union general Phillip Sheridan during the Reconstruction era. The first white settler was Dr. Richard C. Rhodes, a native of North Carolina.[1]
