Shackleford is a village and civil parish in the Guildford District or Borough of Surrey centred to the west of the A3 road between Guildford and Petersfield 32 miles (51 km) southwest of London and 5.2 miles (8.4 km) southwest of Guildford. Shackleford includes the localities of Eashing, Hurtmore, Norney and Gatwick. (Not the Gatwick of Gatwick Airport.)

Before 1933 the parish was part of the Godalming Rural Parish. Between 1933 and 1974 it was located in Hambledon Rural District.
