Rothsay is a city in the U.S. state of Minnesota. The population was 497 at the 2000 census. Rothsay is located on the border in both Otter Tail County and Wilkin County. One of Rothsay's major tourist attractions is the large prairie chicken statue near the northwest outskirts of the town.
