Rookwith is a hamlet and civil parish in the Hambleton district of North Yorkshire, England, about 4 miles west of Bedale and near the flow of the River Ure.
Prior to the nationwide municipal reorganization of 1974, Rookwith was part of Bedale Rural District. Historically, it was located in the ecclesiastical parish of Thornton Watlass in the wapentake of Hang East.
