Richland County is a county located in the state of Ohio, United States. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 124,475, which is a decrease of 3.4% from 128,852 in 2000. It is included in the Mansfield, Ohio, Metropolitan Statistical Area as well as the Mansfield–Bucyrus Combined Statistical Area.
It is named for the fertile soil found there. Its county seat is Mansfield.
