"A small village in Caithness, Reiss lies 2½ miles (4 km) northwest of Wick at the junction of the A99 road to John o' Groats with the B876 road to Castletown and Dunnet Bay. It has views over the sands of Sinclair's Bay and lies to the south of Quoys of Reiss."
