Rawmarsh is a large village in the Metropolitan Borough of Rotherham, in South Yorkshire, England. Until 1974 it was within the West Riding of Yorkshire. It is 2 miles (3 km) north from the centre of Rotherham and had a population around 18,000 in the 2001 census. Rawmarsh has a long history of coal mining and steel making.

From 1894 until 1974 Rawmarsh was an urban district and was expanded in 1936 when Greasbrough Urban District was disbanded and added to Rawmarsh. Historically, Rawmarsh was an ecclesiastical parish in the wapentake of Strafforth and Tickhill.

The civil parishes represented by the numbers on the map will be found on the pages for Rotherham Rural District and Kiveton Park Rural District.
