Plympton Hundred was located east and south of the City of Plymouth and faces the English Channel. It is #21 on the map.
A Vision of Britain through Time provides the following description of Plympton Hundred from John Marius Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales of 1871-72:
- "PLYMPTON, a hundred in the S W of Devon; containing the two Plympton parishes and six other parishes. Acres: 33,932. Population in 1851: 10,523; in 1861: 10,285. Houses: 1,894."
GENUKI provides a longer description from White's History, Gazetteer, and Directory of Devonshire of 1850.
