Philipsburg is a borough in Centre and Clearfield Counties in the US State of Pennsylvania. It is located at (40.895, -78.2193). It is part of the Clearfield, Pennsylvania Metropolitan Statistical Area. The city proper contained 2,770 people at the 2010 census, while its urban area, which includes neighboring Chester Hill, North Philipsburg, and South Philipsburg, contained a total of approximately 4,800 people.
