Penrhos is a village and former civil parish in the historic Welsh county of Caernarvonshire. The parish was abolished in 1934, and incorporated into Llannor. The settlement of Penyberth lies within its confines. The area has been in Gwynedd since 1974.

A Vision of Britain through Time provides the following description of Penrhos from John Marius Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales of 1870-72:

"PENRHOS, a parish in Pwllheli [registration] district, Carnarvon; on the E coast of the Lleyn peninsula, 3½ miles S W by W of Pwllheli [railway] station. Post-town, Pwllheli. Acres: 555; of which 103 are water. Real property: £458. Population: 104. Houses: 24. The property is divided among a few. The living is a [perpetual] curacy, annexed to the [perpetual] curacy of Abereirch [Abererch], in the diocese of Bangor. The church is good."
