Panfield is a village and a civil parish located since 1974 in the Braintree district of the English county of Essex. It is near the town of Braintree. The parish was part of the Braintree Rural District from 1894 until 1974.

The Anglican parish church is dedicated to St Mary and St Christopher. The village has several listed buildings including the Grade I listed Panfield Hall, a 16th-century red brick great house.
