Northampton is a town in Fulton County, New York, United States. The population was 2,670 at the 2010 census. The name comes from an original land patent. Northampton is in the northeastern corner of the county and is northeast of Gloversville. [edit] History
The town is derived from the Northampton Patent of 1741.[1] and was formed from part of the northern part of the town of Broadalbin in 1799.
