North Norwich is a town in Chenango County, New York, United States. The population was 1,783 at the 2010 census.

The Town of North Norwich, which is directly north of the City of Norwich, is in the eastern half of the county.

The first settlement began around 1794. The Town of North Norwich was established in 1849 from the northern part of the Town of Norwich.

The former Chenango Canal passed through the town.
