North Haledon (pronounced North HAIL-don) is a borough in Passaic County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the borough's population was 8,417,[1][2][3] reflecting an increase of 497 (+6.3%) from the 7,920 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn declined by 67 (−0.8%) from the 7,987 counted in the 1990 Census.

North Haledon was formed as a borough by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on March 20, 1901, from portions of the now-defunct Manchester Township.
