Newbiggin is a village and civil parish in the Richmondshire district of North Yorkshire, England, in the Yorkshire Dales very near Thoralby and tourist attraction Aysgarth. The civil parish lies 50 miles north-west of Leeds, the closest city, and is on the outskirts of Yorkshire Dales National Park, a popular tourist attraction in the area.

Prior to the nationwide municipal reorganization of 1974, Newbiggin was in the Aysgarth Rural District of the North Riding of Yorkshire from 1894. Historically it was in the ecclesiastical parish of Aysgarth in the wapentake of Hang West.
