Miskin Hundred was a northerly hundred in Glamorgan, covering the area between the hundreds of Caerphilly and Neath. Its southern border is with Dinas Powys Hundred. The area was made up of parishes covering broad areas with little population.

A Vision of Britain through Time provides the following description of Miskin Hundred from John Marius Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales of 1870-72:

"MISKIN, a hundred in the E of Glamorgan; bounded on the E by Caerphilly hundred, on the S by DinasPowis and Cowbridge; and containing Aberdare parish, and six other parishes. Acres: 81,323. Population in 1851: 30,543; in 1861: 57,347. Houses: 10,643."

GENUKI provides a map from 'Historic Parishes of England and Wales - Boundaries before 1850' to which the boundaries of the hundreds have been superimposed. Dates are those for earliest parish registers. (Full source notes for the original map on the GENUKI page.)
