Minor is a census-designated place in Jefferson County, Alabama, United States. It is part of the Birmingham–Hoover–Cullman Combined Statistical Area. At the 2010 census the population was 1,094. This area was damaged by an F5 tornado on April 8, 1998 including the non-denominational Open Door Church.
