Medina County is a county located in the U.S. state of Ohio. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 172,332, which is an increase of 14.1% from 151,095 in 2000. The 2004 projected population was estimated at 165,370. Its county seat is Medina, and it is named for Medina in Saudi Arabia, though the "I" in it is pronounced instead to rhyme with "dine".
Medina County is part of the Cleveland–Elyria–Mentor Metropolitan Statistical Area.
