Marion County is a county located in the state of Ohio, United States. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 66,501, which is an increase of 0.4% from 66,217 in 2000. Its county seat is the city of Marion and is named for General Francis "The Swamp Fox" Marion, an officer in the Revolutionary War.
The Marion Micropolitan Statistical Area includes all of Marion County.
