• "LOTBINIERE, a county in the eastern part of Quebec, on the south shore of the St. Lawrence. Area 460,640 acres. The River du Chene and the Beaurivage flow through it. Capital, Lotbinière. Pop. in 1871, 20,606; in 1891, 20,688."
