Long Sandal, or Sandal Parva, is a hamlet within the former civil parish of Kirk Sandal, now the joint parish of Barnby Dun with Kirk Sandall. Until 1974 the area was part of Doncaster Rural District and since that date in the the Metropolitan Borough of Doncaster.
