Llanwnda is a village since 1974 in Gwynedd, Wales and formerly in the historic county of Caernarvonshire. The parish of the same name has a population of 1,994 as taken at the 2011 UK census. The village is situated about 3 miles to the south of Caernarfon, and 5 miles southwest of Llanrug. According to the 2011 census, 81.6% of the population were Welsh speakers. the community (or parish) also contains the village of Glanrhyd, less than a mile to the north.
