Little Ouseburn is a small village and civil parish in the Harrogate District of North Yorkshire, England. It is situated near the A1 road motorway and 6 miles south-east of Boroughbridge. According to the 2011 UK census data the total population of Little Ouseburn is 264.
GENUKI makes reference to Kirby Hall, a "township" within Little Ouseburn, with a mansion owned by Richard John Thompson, Esq. (1820s). There is a mausoleum in the church yard at Little Ouseburn erected by members of this family.
Historically, Little Ouseburn was an ecclesiastical parish in the Upper division of the Claro Wapentake. From 1894 until 1938, Little Ouseburn was located in Great Ouseburn Rural District and from 1938 until 1974 in Nidderdale Rural District. In 1974 the area became part of the Harrogate District of North Yorkshire.
