Leeburn, Ontario is known as Northern Ontario's smallest town, however the community is not incorporated. This town has a very low population and is the primary destination of Highway 638 from both termini.

There is no crossroad in this town. The town has a nice background view of the northern Ontario mountains from this town. Population is suspected to be below 100. In1867, James Strachan, a blacksmith from Goderich, Ontario moved to what is now Leeburn and commence farming. He called his farm Leeburn and the community took that name. Strachan came from Lancashire, Scotland in 1864 settling in Goderich, Ontario. He retired from farming at Leeburn in 1880 and moved to Saltford and then to Goderich in 1893.
