Scottish Places describes the Kinneil Estate as an area of parkland with recreational facilities adjacent to the town of Bo'ness. It was the site of a mediaeval village. There is also a modern day oil stabilisation and gas separation plant called the Kinneil Terminal which represents the end of the Forties Pipeline System described by Scottish Places.
