Kelvedon Hatch is a village and civil parish in the Borough of Brentwood in the southern part of Essex, England. It is situated just north of Pilgrims Hatch, approximately 4 miles (6.4 km) to the north of the town of Brentwood and is surrounded by Metropolitan Green Belt. The village today is no longer a rural backwater - a large proportion of its population commutes to work elsewhere. In the 2001 UK census it had a population of 2,563.

Prior to joining the Brentwood Borough, Kelvedon Hatch was a civil parish first in Ongar Rural District (1894-1955) and in Epping and Ongar Rural District from 1955 until 1974.
