Jefferson Hills is a borough in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, United States. It includes the community of "Large, Pennsylvania". As of the 2010 census the population was 10,619. Jefferson Hills was first created as a township (Jefferson Township), incorporating on January 22, 1828, and named in honor of Thomas Jefferson, third President of the United States, author of the Declaration of Independence, statesman, patriot, author, farmer, lawyer, philosopher, inventor, and architect. The borough is a member of the West Jefferson Hills School District.
