Jefferson County is a county located in the U.S. state of Idaho. Established in 1913, it was named after Thomas Jefferson, the third U.S. President. The population was 26,140 at the 2010 census, up from 19,155 in 2000. The county seat and largest city is Rigby, and the county is part of the Idaho Falls Metropolitan Statistical Area.
