[edit] Research TipsInsel Chortitza was founded in 1789 as a Mennonite village within the Chortitza Colony. The village was originally settled by German-speaking Mennonite immigrants from Prussia. Latitude and longitude are approximate, based on an 1833 map of the Chortitza Colony. |
