Hunton is a village and civil parish about 3 miles south of Catterick Garrison, in England. It is part of the Richmondshire district of North Yorkshire, and as of the 2001 census has a population of 420.

Prior to the nationwide municipal reorganization of 1974, Hunton was located in Leyburn Rural District. Historically, it was located in the ecclesiastical parish of Patrick Brompton in the Hang West Wapentake.
