Hoover, or Hoover Station as it was known in the 1890s, is a deserted settlement located along Marseilles-Galion Road East, and the TC&O Railroad right of way, two miles east of of Ohio Route 4 in northern Marion County, Ohio. The community was never incorporated, or legally platted.

Hoover (Station) was grain siding and stop along the Toledo, Columbus and Ohio railroad, between Harvey Station to the south in Grand Prairie Township, Marion County, and Tobias Station to the north in Scott Township, Marion County. The station did receive a postal delivery designation in the late 1880s, which was revoked in the early 1890s when development at the location failed to materialize.

Development at Hoover was promoted by John T. Monnett, a farmer who sectioned off and platted the lots for sale at Hoover. However a lack of potable water, and swampy conditions at the site failed to draw people who would settle at the location, and the plans died out by 1900.

The last business at Hoover, a grain elevator operted by the firm of Hinely, Liken and Monnette closed in the 1930s.
