Hoke County is a county in the U.S. state of North Carolina. It is part of the Fayetteville, North Carolina, Metropolitan Statistical Area. As of the 2010 census, the population was 46,952. Its county seat is Raeford. Hoke county is the fastest growing county in the state of North Carolina and ranked 20th in growth in the country.

The county was formed in 1911 from parts of Cumberland County and Robeson County. It was named for Robert F. Hoke, a Confederate general in the American Civil War.
