Highland County is a county located in the state of Ohio, United States. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 43,589, which is an increase of 6.6% from 40,875 in 2000. Its county seat is Hillsboro and is named for the topography which is hilly and divides the watersheds of the Little Miami and Scioto Rivers.
