Great Easton is a village and civil parishh in Essex, England. The village dates from the 12th century. Great Easton is situated north from Great Dunmow, and the village of Little Easton is 1 mile (1.6 km) to the south. It has a population of almost 800 in 2001 (UK census of that year).

The parish was part of the Dunmow Rural District from 1894 until 1974. Since 1974 it has been located in the Uttlesford District of Essex.
