Based upon published cemetery transcriptions Georgetown Cemetery is the same burial place as the Jackson-Langdale Cemetery and the Country Cemetery. All are recorded as being in Miller Township on the Georgetown Ridge.

According to the 1885 History of Dearborn & Ohio Counties in Indiana, Ezekiel Jackson probably donated ground for this burial place prior to 1820.
