Funkley is a city in Beltrami County, Minnesota, United States. The population was five at the 2010 Census, making the city the least populous incorporated place in Minnesota. Funkley was incorporated in 1904 at the site of a junction along the Minnesota and International Railway. The name comes from Henry Funkley, a county attorney. On June 22, 2011, WCCO Radio reported that Tenney voted to dissolve itself, and that now Funkley has assumed the spot of least populated incorporated city in Minnesota. [edit] Research Tips
