Frisby (near Billesdon) is a hamlet and a deserted medieval village, but has been a civil parish since 1866. It is now located in the Harborough District of Leicestershire. Before 1866 it was a township in the parish of Gaulby. According to the 2001 UK census the parish had a population of 26. The modern hamlet is situated between Gaulby and Billesdon; the ancient village site is nearby to the southeast, and is a Scheduled Ancient Monument.
A Vision of Britain through Time provides the following description of Frisby (near Billesdon) from John Marius Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales of 1870-72:
- "FRISBY, a township in Galby [Gaulby] parish, Leicestershire; 8 miles ESE of Leicester. Real property: £1,601. Population: 19. Houses: 4."
