Fraisthorpe is now a village in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. It is situated approximately 4 miles (6 km) south of Bridlington town centre and to the east of the A165 road. From 1896 until 1935 it was the principal settlement in the civil parish of Fraisthorpe with Auburn and Wilsthorpe. In 1935 the parish was abolished and Fraisthorpe and Auburn were absorbed into the parish of Barmston to the south. Wilsthorpe was absorbed into the parish of Carnaby at the same time.
