Farlington is a small, picturesque village and civil parish in Hambleton district of North Yorkshire, England. It is situated approximately miles north of York between Stillington and Sheriff Hutton. A small stream, the Farlington beck, runs through the village. Prior to the nationwide municipal reorganization of 1974, Farlington was part of Easingwold Rural District. Historically, it was located in the ecclesiastical parish of Sheriff Hutton in the Bulmer Wapentake.
