Faial is a civil parish in the Madeiran municipality of Santana located along the northern coast of the island of Madeira. In 2001 its population numbered less than 2000 inhabitants, in an area of 22.6 km² (its density was 86.8/km²), representing the second largest parish in the municipality, but third least populated.
