Liverpool Exchange was an area of Liverpool that was named after its railway station. The original docks of Liverpool were also located here. These spread along the shoreline through the 19th century.

Liverpool Exchange also acted as a borough constituency for municipal and national elections from 1885 until 1974 when it was merged with the adjacent Liverpool Scotland constituency. Liverpool Exchange can be considered to be the centre of the City of Liverpool.
